Hi everyone!
I don't know about you guys, but I am still stuffed from Thursday! I had an amazing day with my family. I hope everyone was as lucky!
Today I have a fun thank you card that I put together with two of my favorite brands, Mama Elephant and Lawn Fawn. On a totally different note I also placed an order with Lawn Fawn on Friday in order to get the cute freebie stamp. If you place an order at Lawn Fawn and spend at least $35 you automatically get the Color My World set! This is only good through December 1st!
Alright! Here's a look at the card.
I started out coloring the moose from Lawn Fawn's Critters In The Arctic set, and then cut him out and ran my black copic around the outer edges of the moose so it looked finished. Next I die cut the stitched rectangle and stamped the sentiment "thanks" from Mama Elephant's Balloon Letters set. I added a grassy hill for the moose to stand on and some blue sky for the balloons to float towards using distress inks and a mini blending tool from Tim Holtz. I also heat embossed some clouds in the background. Next time I will have to think of where I'm going to put the clouds before starting the card to make it look a little better.
I wrapped some black thread around the antlers and held them in place with some tape. Next I had to add the strings from the balloon letters. To make sure I had them going to where the antlers would be I placed the moose on the card and lightly traced the antlers with pencil. Then I used a Copic Multiliner to draw the strings and made sure to end them in between the pencil lines. When I was finished I erased the lines and put the moose on with some foam tape. I added some white dots to his antlers and the rectangle piece was finished.
I used some yellow cardstock for the card base and clear embossed a fun background print on the front of the card base.
For the moose's body I used my favorite brown combo: E31, E33,E37 and E79
For the moose's antlers and hooves I used: W1, W3 and W5
Here's one last look at the card!
And that's all for this post! I'd love to here about any deals you got found this weekend! I also splurged on some Simon Says Stamp inks when they had 30% off all of their Simon products and I can't wait to get them!
Have a great Saturday!

Thankful Year Round
Happy Saturday!
Like most people I always find myself reaching for thank you cards the most. Next week being Thanksgiving I wanted to have something a little special to give to a couple people that I thought needed a little reminder of how much I appreciate them. Here's what I came up with!
First I put together a Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag Die using a sheet of 6x11 kraft cardstock. If you need a guide of how to put together the Goodie Bag there's a great little tutorial on Lawn Fawn's Youtube channel. Next I die cut a stitched circle using Lil Inkers dies and stamped a sentiment from the Red & Goldie stamp set by Avery Elle.
Then came the fun part. I used a piece of my favorite water color paper Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Cardstock. I also grabbed some Distress Ink Pads and did some fun and messy faux water color splatter look. Once that was dry I ran the piece of cardstock through my Big Shot cutting some featers from the Feathers and Arrows die set from My Favorite Things. I've been loving My Favorite Things newest release! I'm hoping to get more of their products soon.
I slightly folded the feathers and adhered all of the pieces with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.
And that's everything! I'll be filling these cute little bags with some fall necessities like chapstick, mini lotion, and maybe some chocolate:) I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! And thank you for stopping by!!

Owl I Want For Christmas...
Hi Everyone!
I'm new to blogging, but I'm so excited to start sharing my creations. With the holiday season right around the corner I've been crafting up a storm in preparation! Here's a look at one the cards I made that I've just fallen in love with!
I found this adorable stamp at Michael's and I was lucky enough to get a bogo deal on it! It was buy one get one free on most of their wood and clear stamps. I've wanted this owl for a while and it was the perfect chance to get it.
I used a Lawn Fawn notecard for the card base. I stamped the owl on some Neenah solar white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink because I used Copic markers to color in the image.
For his hat I used one of my favorite red combos: R24, R46 and RV69
For the owl's body I used a wide mix of browns: E53, E31, E33, E39, E23, and YR24
For the fluffy part of the hat I used: N00 and N02
For the background I used: B00, B02, B04, B06 and the colorless blender
I die cut a circle using my Lil' Inkers Designs Stitched Circle Die. I also die cut the Banner Die by Mama Elephant and stamped two hearts on it to tie in the red colors used in the hats. (I used the same copic colors as the hat)
I assembled the card and heat embossed the sentiment from a Lawn Fawn Winter Owl set.
Here's a close up of that cute owl.
One holiday card down! Way too many left to go! :) Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you saw something you liked!! Until next time,
Cass
